SUSTAINABILITY CHALLENGE ADVENTURE RACE
FRIDAY, 14th NOVEMBER 2025

Please complete the permission on skool loop forms for your child to participate in the fourth William Pike Outdoor Activity at Long Bay Regional Park on Friday, 14th November 2025.

We will be departing Waitoki School at 8.35am via parent transport and aim to return back to school by 2.00pm.

Appropriate footwear (no slides or jandals) and clothes must be worn. A raincoat is needed if it is raining as the event will still go ahead even in the rain.
The cost is $10.00 per student. This can be paid at the office or into the school account: 12-3139-0003007-00.

We will require two parent helpers on the day to transport and ‘shadow’ a team throughout the course. A GPS capability phone would be an advantage.

Please indicate on the permission form if you can transport any students on Friday, 14th November - AND be a teams ‘shadow’ on the day (running with a team of four around the course - 2 hours) AND have GPS capability on your phone.

Kia ora whanau,

The Kaiparafest Kapa Haka festival is on 18th October at Waimauku Primary school.

Your child will be performing at 11.15am  I will need the kids to be there  by 10:30am at the latest. We will perform for 10mins at which point they come off stage get changed then they can stay and watch other performances or leave. We are meeting in Room 2 at Waimauku school and I will be there to meet them. Please see the school map below in the link.

Boys need to wear black shorts and their school shirt, I will bring the girls costumes with me.

This is the pinnacle event in the kapa haka calendar and the students have worked very hard. This is your chance to see your child’s amazing performance.
