Bookings are now open for 3 Way Conferences (Student/Parent/Teacher) at the beginning of Term 3, Week 1 on Tuesday 21st July. School will close at 12pm on that day and individual meetings start at 12:30 pm until 7:00pm. The purpose of these conferences is to share and discuss assessments, answer any questions from the report, and for your child to share their learning and talk about their learning goals. Tamariki play an important role in these conferences. Appointments can be made through the Skool Loop App under interviews.

Kia ora whānau,
Only a week to go to order your chicks.
AG Day and Country Fair are just around the corner and will soon be here - Saturday 31 October 2026 is the date for your calendar.
You may like to rear a day-old chick to display at Ag day, they will be judged on perching and condition. Raising an Chick for Ag Day is a special experience where tamariki learn valuable lessons in responsibility, commitment, and compassion. It's also a whole lot of fun!I
If you would like to order chicks and/or rearing equipment and feed - please complete the order form attached and return before 2 July 2026 at the latest.
Payment for the chicks and equipment can be made into the school account: 12-3139-0003007-00 or by Eftpos/cash in the school office.
Chicks will arrive in August, date to be confirmed.
If you're interested or would like more information about any aspect of AG day, please email bminton@waitoki.school.nz
We can’t wait to see this year’s chicks and the proud efforts of their young handlers!
