This is a reminder that we're currently taking orders for Calendar Art.
 
We're half-way through the ordering period and we just want to make sure everyone that wants to get products made from their child's own art has the opportunity to.
 
These make unique Christmas gifts for family and friends and are perfect for posting overseas.
 
Follow these instructions to place your order online:

2/. Use the Entrance Code: KZ1101.
 
3/. Enter your child's room & name
 
The order is open until Monday 28th September:

WAITOKI SCHOOL RAFFLE 

Help Support Our School Fundraiser! 

Over the school holidays, every family is being asked to help sell a booklet of 10 raffle tickets to support our school. 

The tickets will be coming home with your child ( eldest /only) today so please check their bags.

■ Ticket Price: $5 each 

■ Due Date: First week of Term 4 

■ Where to Return: School Office (along with cash or via EFTPOS payment) 

■ Where is the Money Going? 

All proceeds from this Country Fair fundraiser go directly toward expanding our school's resources: 

■ STEAM Robotics Equipment (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, & Maths) 

■ Upgraded Play Spaces 

■ New Outdoor Sound System 

■ Earn Herd Points! • 2 Herd Points for every single ticket sold. • 20 Herd Points for completing your first booklet. • 30 Herd Points for every additional completed booklet! (Pick up at office) 

■■ Note: If you cannot sell your booklet, please return it to the school office so another family can take it.

WAITOKI SCHOOL ATHLETICS DAY NOTICE:

Waitoki School Athletics Day will take place on Tuesday, 27 October 2026 (with a weather Save Day on Wednesday, 28 October 2026). The entire school is participating at Sinclair Park, located off Peak Road, Kaukapakapa.

⏱️ Event & Transport Timetable

Senior School (Full Day):

8:40 am – Go Bus departs Waitoki School
8:40 am – 2:00 pm – Event duration
2:15 pm – Go Bus arrives back at school (approx.)

Junior School (Half Day):

9:40 am – Go Bus departs Waitoki School
9:40 am – 12:00 pm – Event duration
12:15 pm – Go Bus arrives back at school

📝 Action Required: Permission Slip
Please complete and sign the permission slip via FORMS in the Skool Loop app by Friday, 16 October 2026.
On the form, you must confirm:
Permission for your child to leave school grounds and ride the bus.
Transport details (whether your child is riding the bus both ways, one way, or if you are personally transporting them to/from Sinclair Park).

🎒 What to Bring Checklist
Water: One or two full drink bottles (there are no drinking water fountains at the park).
Food: Morning tea and a large lunch.
Sun/Weather Protection: Sunscreen, a hat, and a waterproof jacket.
Money: A $1 coin if your child wants to buy an ice block (no prepay options available).

Kia ora 
The fencing contractors will begin working at the front gates of the school tomorrow morning, working to replace the orange and blue gates as well as the fence in the staff car park. This will mean access to the school from Tuesday 15th September until Friday 19th September will need to be made through the new black school gate, by the flagpole. 
We appreciate that the temporary fencing and containers have encroached on the amount of parking spaces we can currently use. We respectfully ask that you continue to use the 2 minute drop off zone and bus bay area to "drop and go" (no parking or leaving your vehicle) for the next two weeks. If you would like to come into school, please park on either Kahikatea Flat Road or across the road from school. 
We thank you for your understanding, the fencing project is on track to finish before Term 4 starts.
