I am delighted to announce a new addition to our Waitoki School team. Lacey Taylor, has been appointed as our new Office Administrator. Lacey lives locally in Kaukapkapa, is Mum to Miller and Van, and brings a wealth of experience to her role. She has a background of working in administration and Early Childhood education. Her work experience includes office duties as well as working with young children and administering first aid. We look forward to welcoming Lacey to our staff on Monday 20th July, the beginning of Term 3.

Kia ora Year 1-5 Whanau,

With the Zoo trip coming up this Thursday just a few reminders :

• Please do not send any money with your child, we will not be visiting the gift shop or any food/drink kiosks.

• All children will need to wear a hat, raincoat, covered shoes, and bring a big, packed lunch and drink bottle on this day.

• Please make the payment of $30 for the trip if you have not already done so.

WAITOKI SCHOOL DISCO –  Parent Helpers Needed

We are looking for some parent help for the Waitoki Disco on June 26th to help run the pop up cafe on the night. Ideally two parents from each age group (ie: junior and senior) would be great , please contact the school office if you are able to offer your services or email admin@waitoki.school.nz

Please head over to forms on Skool Loop to let us know your child/ren is/are attending and to order your ticket and pizza.

When : June 26th

Juniors (Years 0-3): 5.00pm – 6.30pm
Seniors ( Years 4-8): 7.00pm – 8.30pm

Tickets: Entry $5
Or include a mini Domino’s pizza plus entry for $10  (Cheese/Cheese & Ham / Gluten Free).

You may also order your tickets/pizza from the office.

Please then make payment either online or by eftpos/cash in the school office.

Only Two Weeks Until Our Country Hoedown!  Yee Haa !

Whether you've line danced before or have two left feet, this night is for you!   

Join us for a fun, beginner-friendly evening of line dancing, nibbles, and laughs, while helping raise funds for our new sports shed.

Kylie from Homegrown Line Dancing will make sure everyone feels welcome and has a great time.

  Tickets are limited: $30 per adult.

No experience needed — just bring your friends and your sense of fun!

WAITOKI SCHOOL HOE DOWN  

  

Ever wanted to try line dancing? Now is your chance!

Grab your bestie, sister, neighbour or friends and come along to our beginner friendly line dancing social at Waitoki school. Taught by Kylie from homegrown line dancing, this evening promises to be full of fun, laughs and cowboy boots! Join us for a fun-filled night of linedancing, laughs, and country vibes at our Waitoki School Parent Hoe Down!      

This event has limited tickets available so email Sarah at the office to make sure you don’t miss out! 

Date: Friday June 19
  6.30pm – 9.00pm
  $30 per ticket (includes nibbles)

  Waitoki School Hall
